Wearable robotics for rehabilitation
ROVINJ, September 9-13, 2020.
The summer school, “Wearable robotics for rehabilitation,” is organized in parallel with the 24th Annual Conference of the International Functional Electrical Stimulation Society (IFESS) and in parallel with the special event XI ECHE that should bring back some fascinating details about the beginning of the research and development in the field of robot-assisted motor rehabilitation. The town of Rovinj was chosen to host the meeting because it has a beautiful meeting atmosphere, and it is one of the most beautiful cities on the Adriatic coast; therefore, providing perfect conditions for the brainstorming and developing fruitful collaboration.
The meeting is an event of the COST Action CA16116: Wearable Robots for Augmentation, Assistance, or Substitution of Human Motor Functions (Acronym: Wearable Robots). The action brings together a network from more than 25 European countries.
We hope that students will benefit from the parallel, yet not overlapping sessions of the IFESS and summer school.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Rovinj in September 2020.
